Ella Cardigan (english)

DKK  50,00
The leaf-patterned yoke is fun to knit and provides a great fit, because the combination of knit and purl stitches is so elastic. Ella Cardigan is worked from the top down, and the neckline is shaped using short rows.

    Size guide
Ella Cardigan has an intended positive ease of 16-20 cm [6.25-7.75”]. It is shown with approx. 20 cm [7.75”] of positive ease. Find your personal size by measuring yourself around the chest (or the largest part of the body). Then look at the measurements on page 1 (this is the finished measurements of the cardigan). Positive ease is the difference between your bust circumference and the bust circumference of the cardigan. Is your bust circumference e.g. 94 cm [37 inches], a size M will give you 18 cm [7”] of positive ease (112 cm – 94 cm = 18 cm) [44” – 37” = 7”]

*The length is measured at the center back, excluding the neckband.

    Construction
Ella Cardigan is knitted top-down. Short rows are worked to make the front neckline lower than the back. Then the yoke with lace pattern is worked and raglan increases are made. The sleeves and body are separated and worked one at a time. At last, the button bands and neckline are worked.

The pattern will be sent as a pdf-file to your e-mail.
