Foundation Sweater (english)

DKK  50,00
The Foundation Sweater is a simple raglan sweater that is easy to customize. In this version, I created a melange effect by knitting with 2 or 3 strands in varying colors, thicknesses, and textures. The Foundation Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, with short rows worked after the neck edge to create a higher neckline in the back than in the front. If you have leftover yarn, the Foundation Sweater serves as an excellent base pattern for using them up.

    Construction
Begin by knitting the rolled neck edge in stockinette stitch, followed by ribbing. Then, continue in stockinette stitch, working short rows and raglan increases back and forth on circular needles. Then, work in the round with raglan increases until you reach the end of the yoke. From there, work the body and sleeves separately in the round in stockinette stitch, finishing with a ribbed edge at the bottom.
