Selecting your size
The sizing is very flexible. It can work as an oversized sweater or as a more fitted sweater. Therefore, decide how much positive ease you prefer when selecting what size to make. Choose the size with a circumference of 12-18 cm [4,5-7 inches] larger than your widest measurement, which would give you 12-18 cm [4,5-7 inches] of positive ease. The beige Memory sweater is pictured here in size M (positive ease approx. 28 cm [11 inches]). The dark brown Memory sweater is pictured here in size S (positive ease approx. 20 cm [8 inches]). The length is measured at the centre back, including the neckband.
Construction notes
Memory sweater is worked top down. The neckline is double and is knitted together. After the neckline is completed, short rows are worked to make the back longer than the front. Then the yoke with pattern and increases are worked (both are shown in the chart). Raglan increases are worked. Sleeves and body are then worked one at a time.
The pattern will be sent as a pdf-file to your e-mail.
