Darcy Cardigan (english)

DKK  50,00
The Darcy Cardigan is a raglan cardigan featuring extra shoulder details that create a flattering fit. It has a deep raglan shaping, and sleeve increases are placed at the top of the sleeves which gives them a sculpturel silhuette. The front and neck edges are worked at the end. The Darcy Cardigan pairs beautifully with both pants and dresses.

    Construction
Darcy Cardigan is worked from the top down. Short rows are used to shape the neckline, while raglan and shoulder increases are worked along the top center of the sleeves. Once all increases are completed, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the back and fronts are finished by working back and forth. The sleeves are finished by working in the round. Finally, the front and neck edges are worked and buttons are sewn in.

    Size guide
Darcy Cardigan is designed with approx. 15-20 cm [6-7.75”] of positive ease. Both the olive green and the burgundy cardigans shown in the photos have approx. 20 cm [7.75”] of positive ease. Please note that the Darcy Cardigan is relatively short. Be sure to calculate additional yarn if you plan to make it longer. Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your upper body). Then, compare this measurement to the finished garment measurements listed at the beginning of the pattern. Positive ease is the difference between your body measurement and the cardigan's measurement. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm [37 “], a size M will give you a positive ease of 20 cm
    [7.75”] (114 cm – 94 cm = 20 cm) [44.75” - 37” = 7.75”].
