Construction
Frame sweater is worked top-down. The first 12 rows are worked back and forth. Then, you continue in the round. Once the yoke with raglan increases is completed, work the body and sleeves separately in stockinette stitch. The neckline is knitted at last.
The length is measured at the center back, excluding the neckline.
Size guide
Frame Sweater is intended to have a positive ease of approx. 12-20 cm [4.75-7.75”], depending on how loosely fitting you want it to be. The petrol sweater is shown with a positive ease of approx. 16 cm [6.25”] and the cream-colored sweater is shown with a positive ease of approx. 22 cm [8.75“].
Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the widest part of your upper body). Then look at the measurements given at the beginning of the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the sweater). Positive ease is the difference between your personal measurement and the sweater measurement. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm [37”], a size M would provide you with a positive ease of 17 cm [6.75”] (111 cm – 94 cm = 17 cm). [43.75” - 37” = 6.75”].
