Knit a little scarf that keeps your neck warm, or extend it to make a shawl that also warms the shoulders. The pattern is pretty on both sides and is not difficult as it is only made of knit and purl sts with simple increases and decreases.

    Depth in the middle: approx. 42 cm / 16,5 inches.

    Yarn – beige scarf
    The scarf weighs approx. 65 g.
    Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 28% silk, 15% wool, 25 g = 212 m) held together with Sandnes Garn Alpakka følgetråd (100% alpaca, 50 g = 400 m).

    The scarf weighs approx. 75 g.

    Recommended needles
    Beige scarf: 3,5 mm (US4) circular needle, 80 cm (32 inches).
    Cream scarf: 4 mm (US 6) circular needle, 80 cm (32 inches).

    Gauge
    Beige scarf: 1 pattern repeat = 8 cm (3 inches) wide on needle 3,5 mm (US4) with two strands held together.
    Cream scarf: 1 pattern repeat = 8 cm wide (3 inches on needle 4 mm (US6) with two strands held together.
    Measured after blocking while being lightly stretched in width.
