Sandnes Alpakka Følgetråd (100% alpaca, 50 g = 400 m), 50 g col. 2321 or 1032 held together with
Sandnes Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 28% silk, 15% wool, 25 g = 212 m), 25 g col. 2321 or 1022.
Recommended needles
Circular needle 3,5 mm (80 cm) [US4, 32”]
Gauge
23 sts stockinette stitch = 10 cm on 3,5 mm needles [US4].
Construction
You begin knitting the scarf with 5 stitches. This is the middle of the scarf. Then the scarf is knitted back and forth on the circular needle with increases in each side and in the middle of the scarf. The scarf is worked entirely in stockinette stitch with ”stripes” of purl-rows (= knit stitches from the wrong side) as described.
