Size guide
The sizes (2) 4 (6) 8 (10) 12 years are designed to fit a height of approx. (92) 104 (116) 128 (140) 152 cm [(36.25) 41 (45.75) 50.5 (55) 59.75“] and a circumference of approx. (54) 57 (61) 65 (71) 77 cm [21.25) 22.5 (24) 25.5 (28) 30”]. Choose the size that fits the circumference of the child. It is easy to adjust the length on the body and sleeves, as the tee is knitted top down.
Plain Yoke Tee 20 junior is intended to have a positive ease of approx. 6-12 cm [2.25-4.75”], depending on how loosely fitting you want it to be. It is shown with a positive ease of 10 cm [5“]. Find the child’s bust circumference by measuring around the chest (or the widest part of your upper body). Then look at the measurements given at the beginning of the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the tee). Positive ease is the difference between the personal measurement and the tee measurement.
For example, if the child’s bust circumference is 61 cm [24”], a size 6 years would provide you with a positive ease of 11 cm [4.25”] (72 cm – 61 cm = 11 cm). [28.25” - 24” = 4.25”] *The length is measured at the center back (let the rolled neckline curl when measuring).

Construction note, detailed edition (in the picture)
Plain Yoke Tee 20 junior is knitted top-down with a raised back neck, created using German short rows (GSR). This means that when working the short rows, you work back and forth in stockinette stitch (knit on the right side, purl on the wrong side). Apart from the short rows, the Tee is worked in knit stitches only. The yoke is shaped with increases.
Construction note, novice edition
Plain Yoke Tee 20 junior is knitted top-down. Everything is worked in stockinette stitch, meaning the tee is worked in knit stitches only. The round yoke is shaped with increases. The only difference compared to the "detailed edition” is that ”novice edition” is worked the same way both in the front and back in the neck section.
