Manon Tee (english)

Manon Tee (english)

DKK  45,00
Manon Tee features maritime stripes and a boat neckline. It is worked from the top down and has short sleeves that are shaped at the same time as the yoke. This means that the entire tee is knitted in one piece, shaped with increases, and finished without any sewing.

    Recommended needles
    Circular needles 2,5 and 3 mm, 40 and 80 cm [US 1.5 and 2.5, 16 and 32”].

    Gauge
    28 sts x approx. 40 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm on 3 mm [4 x 4” on US 2.5] needles.

    Construction
First, the top of the back is knitted with slanted shoulders. Then stitches are picked up for the front along the shoulder stitches of the back. Each side of the front is knitted separately. The slanted shoulders are shaped with short rows. Then you knit to the beginning of the neckline curve. Stitches are now picked up for the top of the sleeve, and the front, back and sleeves are worked (at the same time) until the end of the armhole. From there, the body and sleeves are knitted separately. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline edge.

    Size guide
Manon Tee is intended to have a positive ease of approx. 0-5 cm [0-2”], depending on how loosely fitting you want it to be. It is shown here with a positive ease of 6 cm [2.5”] (brown stripes) and 2 cm [1“] (navy stripes).
Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the widest part of your upper body). Then look at the measurements given at the beginning of the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the tee). Positive ease is the difference between your personal measurement and the tee's measurement.
    For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm [37”], a size M would provide you with a positive ease of 0 cm [0”] (94 cm – 94 cm = 0 cm) [37” - 37” = 0”].
*The length is measured at the center back, excl. the neckline.
