Siri Cardigan (english)

DKK  50,00
The Siri cardigan is a manageable project with cables. The few, but well-placed cables are combined with an easy pattern in moss stitch, which becomes beautiful and voluminous in both blow yarn and in a combination of wool and mohair. The Siri Cardigan has a cable in the centre of each sleeve and two cables on each front panel, while the back is worked entirely in moss stitch.

    Construction note
Work from the top down. Front edges and neck edge are worked at the end. First increases are worked for raglan and the neckline on the fronts is shaped using short rows. Then raglan increases are worked and the body and sleeves are finished separately. The sleeves are worked in the round. A lot of things happen at the same time at the start of the pattern. The neckline is shaped, raglan increases are made while also setting up the various patterns. Once you’ve set up your work and the increases are in place, Siri Cardigan is an easy knit! The first rows are both described row by row and shown in the chart. The chart provides a much faster overview than the text, so I would recommend following the chart or a combination of chart and text. But choose the method that suits you best.

    Size guide
Siri Cardigan is designed to have a positive ease of approx. 18-25 cm [7-10”]. The fit is customisable, so choose a size larger or smaller if you want more or less positive ease. Length is also easy to adjust. In the pictures Siri Cardigan is shown with a positive ease of approx. 22 cm [8.25”].
On the pictures the light grey cardigan (knitted in Poppy) is shown with a positive ease of approx. 18 cm [7”] and the blue cardigan and the beige cardigan (with a green tee) is shown with a positive ease of approx. 16 cm [6.25”].
Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your upper body). Then look at the measurements at the beginning of the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the cardigan).
Positive ease is the difference between your personal measurement and the cardigan's measurement. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm [37 “], a size M will give you a positive ease of 21 cm [8.25”].
    (115 cm – 94 cm = 21 cm). [45.25” - 37” = 8.25”]

The pattern will be sent as a pdf-file to your e-mail.
