Front and neck egdes are worked after and then buttons are attached.

    Size guide
The sizes (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL are designed to fit a chest circumference of approx. (80-86) 86-94 (94-102) 102-108 (108-116) 116-122 (122-128) 128-134 cm [(31.5-33.75) 33.75-37 (37-40.25) 40.25-42.5 (42.5-45.75) 45.75-48 (48-50.5) 50.5-52.75”]. Foundation Cardigan is designed with approx. 10-20 cm [4-7.75”] of positive ease, allowing you to choose how loose or fitted you’d like it to be. In the photo, Foundation Cardigan is shown with a positive ease of approx. 20 cm [7.75"].
Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your upper body). Then, compare this measurement to the finished garment measurements listed at the beginning of the pattern. Positive ease is the difference between your body measurement and the measurements of the cardigan.
For example, if your bust circumference is 98 cm [38.5”], a size M will give you a positive ease of 20 cm [7.75”]
    (118 cm – 98 cm = 20 cm) [38.5” – 30.75” = 7.75”].
